Outdoors - Inline Skating

Avg Speed 8.5 MPH Max Speed 15.6 MPH.  Nice evening although a bit windy.  Using inline skates with slow bearings kinda like a restrictor plate in NASCAR so building speed is tougher than normal.  Very satisfying.  I’m done for today.  Good night all.

A bit chiller than yesterday. Took the Trek 720 hybrid out. It’s so nice out this time of day riding into the sunrise. Makes you humble and gratefull. See ya!

Run - Outdoors - Time for a cool change

Temp 65 and mild.  Nice!  Shoes: NB 1011.  Ran wiht the Amphipod 4 bottle fuel belt.  It fit better than yesterday.  Same route as yesterday but with some added side routes.  1st of back to back running days in a long time.  Nagging aches and pains but a positive run.  Can’t complain.  Keep on truckin’

Run - Outdoors - Hot enough for ya?

Temp was in the mid 90’s most of the day but cooled off to about 89 at the start of my run and seemed to go down a few degrees every 10 minutes or so. Shoes - Brooks Beast. Normal local Hartford Avenue route. Wore my amphipod 4 bottle fluid belt with 2 filled. Still getting used to running with it. All in all agood time was had by all. The rest of the weeks will be cooler temps for running. The hot them cooler temps are crossing the country to New England. Yeah Spring.

Bike - Outdoors

Avg Pace 4:12 mile.  Best pace 2:52 mile.  Bike: Fji Ace road bike.   Local route to Rocky Hill ferry.  Still about 80+ degrees.  Good ride.  A few stops but good kick at the end.  Yeah!

Run - Glastonbury River Run - Feeling Hot..hot..hot

Boy was it warm today.  I think it was about 86 for the run.  Took the NB 859 for 1st outdoor run.  During the run the neighbors were setting sprinklers out for the runners.  Didn’t overheat but just didn’t have it today…Stay cool folks.  After this run I’m going for a bike ride

Run - Outdoors - Not in the Groove

Avg Speed 5.5 / Max Speed 9.2.  Shoes: NB 1011.  Gorgeous evening.  Just the right temp.   The route is a hybrid road/off road.  It was nice to get out but I had no pep.  Frequent walking breaks helped.  This helps for future training.  Rock on all.
