Once again it’s kinda cold and winday to run outside so I thought I would do the treadmill thing and see if I could work on my speed as it is.
Not a bad run. I did about 1 miles at a pace of 8:20 mile and the last .25 mile at at pace of 8:00 mile. I might have been able to run another mile or so but it seemed like I might be developing a blister on my left foot so why risk it.
Warmup - 7:50 .64 mile stocking feet
Run - 26:49 3.01 miles
Cool Down - 7;11 .50 mile stocking feet
On the cool down I walked backwards for the first 2 minutes at a pace of 30:00/mile. Yes,walking backwards is easy on a normal surface but it was kinda strange to do it on the treadmill and not fall down. I don’t think I can do it at a quicker pace at this time.
